PAMAS has learned a lot of valuable lessons building here in the Philippines over the past 19 years and I would have to say that the number one lesson is DO NOT USE WOOD! The woods here that are beautiful, resilient to decay and impossible for termites to destroy are mostly illegal so we have made it our aim to build with cement and steel whenever possible. Steel has been purchased for the big Child Impact Rescue Campus project, but not for PAMAS' project needs so we are having to buy expensive and often inferior (thin) steel. We have the use of the Steel Roll Form machine, but PAMAS has no steel to roll. Thank you for helping us to build churches, new jungle school classrooms, agriculture buildings and so much more!
