Guest House

“Oh yes, you’re welcome to come visit PAMAS, but I’m sorry we don’t have any place for you to stay” are the words I continually find myself telling people who want to come visit our ministry or volunteer. I don’t want to turn anyone away, but it is true that we do not have any extra facility for people to stay.

The eight ladies in a three-bedroom dorm, five plus in the men’s dorm, and 4-5 nurses staying in our current two-bedroom guesthouse are already severely crowded! So where do our guests stay? Either in our lifestyle center (which wasn’t designed to be a hotel), in a tent, or a hammock.

What’s the solution? Well, besides praying about the situation, we used a small donation ($1000) to start building four guest houses. The houses are specifically designed to accommodate lifestyle guests who will be attending future lifestyle change programs, but they will also give us the much-needed facilities for you when you come to visit—and everyone else too!

We estimate the cost to be around $26,000 per unit. We spent the initial $1000 donation a long time ago, but since we are in the best dry season we have had for years, we are pushing hard to get the cement posts and beams poured before the rains come. If you have any desire to assist with this project, please see the donation info below. We really want to have a place available for you when you come. Thank you!
