AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

Agricultural services of PAMAS promotes to produce organic crops of leafy and fruiting vegetables, fruits and roots that could be freely given or bartered with other produce to the patients in the lifestyle center and also to fellow missionaries and neighbors in the community who are in need. It follows the primitive way of natural and sustainable farming to promote healthy soil and protect the environment. This part of the institution also gives kitchen garden seeds, that are open-pollinated and/or heirloom, to the community and jungle school villages to help them reproduce their own gardens in their respective places. It is also offering outreach programs like community classes and knowledge impartation through the radio waves.

Currently, in partnership with FARM STEW International, we are looking forward to spread God's love through agriculture in the Island of Palawan especially in the mountains of the region. FARM STEW gives the five freedom priorities to bring abundant life to all, freedom from dependency, shame, disease and freedom to prosper and share. Lead and guided by the Lord Jesus Christ, the agriculture department hopes to see self-sufficient and sustainable families and communities in the island of Palawan.
